(Bethany can pull herself up at seven months!)
Bethany is seven months old, today! She is such a happy little girl who loves to babble away while she is crawling all over the living room. She has gotten more curious about the cats and would love to be friends with them, but they're not quite as keen on being friends with her. She weighs 16 pounds and 12 ounces. (I usually round it up to 17 pounds, but I figured I'd list the official doctor's office weight.) She is long, long, long. Her length makes me wonder how tall she will eventually be!
She likes to eat baby food, but wants nothing to do with the baby puffs right now. She has been super ahead developmentally on just about everything a baby can be ahead on except for . . .teeth! At seven months, Bethany still does not have a single tooth. She teethes and chews and drools away, but we're still waiting for a tooth to make an appearance. I'm actually more than okay with it taking awhile. When she pulled herself up today I got teary eyed. Every milestone has happened SO fast!
Bethany has said so long to the Swaddlers and is now sporting size three Cruisers to help her maneveur all over the place. They're still a little big, but they get the job done and she is able to move in them. They're not pictured, but after hearing recommendations from other parents we have gotten her some Babylegs to help protect her knees and make crawling easier for her. I've got to admit, they are pretty cute and easier than baby pants!
Our sweet girl is feeling much better than she did last Friday. We had to take her in to see her pediatrician who put her on a nebulizer treatment. It has done wonders. She sounds SO much better. It isn't easy getting an infant to stay still for noisy vapor treatment, but we can get her to be still by humming MIchael Jackson's Beat It. Haha. When that doesn't work, there is always Baby Einsteins streamed from YouTube. (We are not big on letting her watch screens, but if Baby Einsteins will keep her calm for her not so fun nebulizer, we'll let her watch away for ten to fifteen minutes.)
We took all of her seven month photos this afternoon and today also happened to be her school picture day, too. I'm excited to see the proofs and her class photo. I'm actually super curious as to how they got her classmates to stay still!
