I definitely have not blogged very often recently. It is hard to find the time when keeping up with a ten month old! Hopefully, I'll fix that in the next few weeks.
Anyway, at 10 months, Bethany is . . .
- Standing! She is quite comfortable with standing.
- Pulling herself to standing without having to hold or grab onto anything.
- Loves to empty any container/basket/bookshelf/table top she can reach or get into. Baskets of clean laundry and toy shelves do not stand a chance!
- Babbling away. Especially at home. She definitely lets us know when something isn't to her liking. Haha.
- Still adores the cats, much to their dismay.
- Takes a few steps every now and then without assistance. She took her first super wobbly ones in Colorado and has only gotten better. Still not quite what I would consider truly walking though.
- Eating all sorts of new foods. She loves to gobble watermelon triangles. She gnaws away at the them. Haha.
- Does really well on her bath, book, nurse, and rock sleep routine. At home she sleeps all the way until 5:30am. To some this sounds awful, but I have learned NOT to take it for granted. Especially with traveling this last weekend and staying up all night!
- Is growing up too quickly!
It is crazy to think of how quickly these last ten months have gone by. It has been an amazing ten months of learning and growing and discovering on not just Miss Bethany's part, but certainly for me and Marcus as her mommy and daddy. It has been truly and tremendously good. Of course it hasn't been cookie-cutter perfect because life isn't perfect, but the overriding goodness that has drenched us this year has brought us such a beautiful joy. I'm so thankful.
