We have been blessed with the sweetest daughter. She is the joy of our hearts and we are definitely enjoying baby bliss. Marcus and I are loving learning all that there is in caring for our little girl. We already have a handful of funny diaper and spit-up stories to share.
I really love the weekend because Marcus is here all day long on Saturday and Sunday and we get to enjoy our little family. Yesterday, we even ventured out on a very short walk with Bethany in her stroller. (Shhh . . . don't tell my doctor.) I'm starting to feel much more like my old self again which is great. Don't worry, I won't over-do it. I definitley want to completely and totally heal. It's nice to feel good and not have my abdomen ache.
Anna also came over this weekend and it was good to see her. She was at the hospital for Bethany's birth, but somehow eluded the cameras, so I made sure to get a few pictures of Bethany with her Aunt Anna. I'll be sure to post them later. Anna also told us all about our cousin Duane's wedding which we had to miss yesterday. Marcus and I were sad to miss it, but were thinking of him and his bride, Donna, on their special day. (The picture above is from a special picture I took of Bethany wishing Duane and Donna a happy wedding day.)
Parenthood has really given me a beautiful glimpse into just how much God loves us. It's incredible and so beautiful. I'm so thankful.
