Back to Work!

Well, I'm headed back to work tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to it.  It will be nice to see everyone again and just be out and about.  Although, I have been told I'm supposed to keep my movement to a minimum and sit as much as I possibly can.  I will do my best to follow through with the doctor's orders.  My students will just have to be little errand runners from now until the end of the year.

Yesterday my parents came to visit.  My mom brought some groceries and yummy Thai food for me and Marcus.  I showed her the ultrasound pictures from Wednesday.  She was immediately enamored with her grandbaby, ooohing and ahhing over his or her little arms and legs and face.  My dad, however, seemed quite concerned by the hematoma that is also part of the ultrasound.  I assured him that I felt all right and that hopefully, come May 3rd, the hematoma will have shrunk drastically.

Today, my family left on their Disney cruise.  There is a small part of me that is a little sad that I couldn't be with them, but there will always be time for more cruises in the future.  I am also very thankful that since Tuesday's emergency had to happen, thank the Lord that it didn't happen during the cruise!  Everyone would have been freaking out and where would I have gone for an emergency room?  I know that my parents and siblings and sister-in-law are having a blast and that next Disney cruise, my parents will just have to go with me, Marcus, and their grandbaby!

I'm very much wanting to feel our baby move.  Marcus thinks I'm funny because at night I will lie so still just waiting.  There have been a couple of times where I've felt "bubbles", but they've been so quick and sudden, that I'm never quite sure.  We spent the weekend at home since I wasn't allowed to go anywhere.  We watched a couple movies, House Hunters (we both love that show), and the Magic vs. Cavaliers game  (YAY!  MAGIC WIN!).  Marcus also worked on packing up some of his stuff from the garage for our move and worked on our blog design.  It's almost finished!
