Bethany takes a Bottle!

At three weeks and four days old, Bethany took her very first pumped bottle from her daddy.  It was an emotional moment for me as her mommy.  Of course, I was super proud of her, but knowing that she will easily take a bottle makes work seem that more real.  There was a part of me that was also relieved, however, knowing that I can pump and she can have her meals.  Although, I'm nervous about figuring out how to pump enough and store enough before making the big transition.  (It's still hard to talk/think about going back.)  I'm sure I'll figure it out, though.

Marcus got a treat Friday.  His boss took him and the rest of the Flitehaus crew out on his boat.  Marcus came home sunburned, but relaxed and ready to enjoy our weekend together.  We've had a wonderful one, too!  We got a few things done, but mostly just enjoyed our time together.

Now that Bethany will take a bottle, we're going to hopefully take her out and about.  Hopefully, I'll be writing about her first trips soon!
