Bethany's Favorites

Okay, given the severity of my last post written in the wee hours of the morning, I'd figure I'd share something a little more light hearted and fun.  Bethany is currently snoozing next to me and the rain is pouring, so why not write again?

It seems that blogging moms love to share their finds, products, deals, toys . . . so here it goes:|

The Skwish by Manhattan Toys - Bethany loves this toy and has since she was about three months old.  The soft noises the wooden beads make are pleasant to listen to and the string that holds the wooden beads together is easy to grasp.  The colors are fun and the paint is safe.  We take it with us all over the place! 

Bright Starts Take n' Shake carrier/stroller toys - When Bethany was teeny tiny, she would stare at her yellow ladybug and smile.  It is the very first thing we noticed her take a genuine interest in aside from us.  Because she loves Mr. Ladybug so much, whenever we see a ladybug, we think of Bethany!  Her childcare school mascot is even a ladybug!  We're definitely thinking Bethany's first birthday party just may be ladybug themed!

Plum Organics baby foods - Bethany loves baby food purees.  As a full-time working mom, I decided that making all the purees Bethany would need for school was going to be more hassle than enjoyable, so I started the search for good organic baby food options.  Plum Organics, Happy Baby, and Ella's Kitchen are our family favorites, but we have tried Earth's Best and Gerber Organics and she likes those just fine, too.  She just likes to eat.  Haha.  :)

Burt's Bees Baby Bee products - We use a lot of them.  Can you tell by the photo? I love the smell and that the products are mostly natural, however, for those who have children with very sensitive skin, check the cosmetic database for the safety of each product.  (The site was recommended to me by a friend and it is very informative!)  Burt's Bees Baby Bee products check out as mostly moderately safe and thankfully, Bethany hasn't had any issues.  I'm a little sad that the fragrance is what most heavily diminishes the product safety because, of course, I love the fragrance.

Zulily - Okay, these are my favorites - not Bethany's.  Zulily is awesome.  I realize there are a bunch of negative reviews out there for Zulily, but they tell you in advance that the products are going to take awhile to ship and they also explain why on their site. Patience is a virtue and with it you can get some really great deals.  (Also, order clothes in bigger sizes, so you won't feel frustrated if it takes time!)  If you don't mind the wait, the bargains are awesome.  I have a few things on order for Bethany and I'll be sure to share them when they arrive and give my full and complete review!  (Tomorrow, Zulily is featuring Rosalina (smocking), Little Bitty, and Baby Legs.  I probably should just stay away!)  Haha.  Next:  Amazonmom.  Also, awesome.  Best Pampers deals ever.  With Amazonmom discounts and free two-day shipping PLUS the coupons I get out of my parenting magazine subscriptions, the deals are unbeatable.  I seriously LOVE me some Amazonmom.com.

Name Bubbles - These are just so great and the company also supports waterforpeople.com.  We use name bubbles for Bethany's bottles that go to school.  They are waterproof, dishwasher proof, and laundry proof.  We love them!
