Blokus Champ (Sort of....)

Just a quick post because I'm proud of myself and want to pick on Katie ;)

Though Katie won Blokus twice out of the two times we played tonight, I came in second both times. After the games however, Katie wondered if we could create perfect squares out of the pieces. Because there aren't a true square number of pieces, we decided that a 9x9 square was as good as it was going to get.

We almost gave up, but I insisted on trying to make it happen and Katie wouldn't give up until I did. After about 20 minutes, I was finally able to accomplish the impossible, a 9x9 rectangle of perfection. See above photo for my genius. :)
