Cravings!

I've had my share of cravings, but nothing too out of the ordinary . . . yet!

First Trimester:

  • Eggs - I ate one egg cooked over-hard (no runny yolks allowed!) every morning for almost a month!
  • Green bell peppers - All they needed was to be washed and cut up!
  • Cucumbers - Again, another raw veggie!
  • Steak - Usually, I'm not big on red meat . . but 6-ounce steaks out at dinner have been perfect!

Second Trimester:

  • Grapefruit - yum!
  • Chocolate milk - I know, this one is weird!  Especially since chocolate is to be consumed minimally!
  • Steak - I still enjoy a 6-ounce when out at dinner.
  • Hamburgers - topped with raw green bell peppers
  • Green beans - Out of the produce department, washed and straight-up raw!
  • Green bell peppers - yum!
  • Orange juice - This one is occasional.  Sometimes I want it.  Sometimes I don't.

Nothing too crazy.  Although, one night I wanted to eat my raw green beans with a glass of chocolate milk and Marcus definitely thought that was weird.  Haha.  Yes, I admit that one is weird.  Oh, and I know wanting to eat eggs in my first trimester is strange since they make most women gag - but that's what I wanted!

Today, I am 20 weeks pregnant!  We're halfway there!  On Monday, Marcus and I will go for our big ultrasound and we'll find out if our baby is a boy or girl.  We'll also see how my hematoma's healing is progressing . . . I'm prayerful that the news will be good and that all will be well.  I'm really looking forward to this coming Monday, but I'll be sure to relax over the weekend first!
