Happy Wednesday! Happy Birthday, Sara!

- One of the greatest women I know is turning twenty-seven today!  Sara and I met during our sophomore year of high school and we’ve been super close ever since.  I’m so thankful for her friendship.  She is a super fun, super genuine person who loves to love people.  Even though we’ve lived literally across the country from each other for nine years, we still know each other just as well as we did when we were spirited teenage girls living in the same city. 

- Currently, my students are two days away from being completely finished with the FCAT.  Woot!  I love the end of the school year, and not just because the summer is around the corner, but also because my students are full of anticipation.  They are eager to talk about their hopes, desires, and goals and I love listening to them.  It is exciting to guide them and help them as they prepare for the big transition into high school.

- Marcus already has his first photography session coming up.  His subject?  Food!  Flitehaus is completing a site for a restaurant and he gets to photograph dinners that will be posted on the site. 

- We have gotten to use our wonderful Manduca and just like we read, it comfortably fits me and it comfortably fits Marcus and MOST importantly, it comfortably fits Bethany.  Marcus’s generous Aunt and Uncle ordered it for us as a gift and even found the one we wanted that was no longer available on the Manduca website.  We are so thankful!  My in-laws brought it to us after their trip to Germany and Marcus and I are just beside ourselves with gratitude over it! 

- I’ve been doing local farm research and have found one nearby.  We’re hoping to check it out sometime this Saturday and not have to drive to the farmer’s market every weekend.  We love the farmer’s market, but we wish it was closer!

- Last night, we had a great evening with our small group.  We are studying the book Boundaries which I was slightly apprehensive about at first, but I’m really enjoying the study and feel like I am learning a lot!
