Quick Weekend Recap!

Happy Mother's Day!

Friday - Marcus and I went to register for Bethany at Pottery Barn Kids and Target.  While we were out at PBK, we had a yummy early Mommy's Day dinner at Cheesecake Factory.  Afterward, he took me to see the movie documentary, Babies.  I thought it was super cute and interesting . . . but Marcus was unimpressed with the lack of dialogue and overall lack of story.  He is still excited for our Bethany, though!  :)

Saturday - I spent the day running around with my family.  For some reason, I was just plain EXHAUSTED.  It was a day where my energy was completely lacking and all I wanted was a nap!  Despite my sleepiness, we had nice lunch together which was fun.  Marcus took his mom on a special mother-son date for Mother's Day which was very sweet.  Afterward, we met up and watched some basketball at my in-laws' home . . . well, Marcus mostly watched.  I was dozing on the couch.  Zzzzzzzz . . .

Sunday - Mother's Day!  I slept most of the morning away until I was awoken by breakfast in bed, a mommy-to-be card, and pretty pink roses from Marcus.  We had breakfast together and relaxed lazily for the rest of the morning.  In the afternoon, we went shopping for Bethany and had lunch at Five Guys.  We've been going to Summit Waterford, but since we relaxed away our morning, we went to Summit's evening service which was awesome, as always.  I will definitely reflect over the renewing of my mind this week.  Col. 3:1-2, Col. 3:14-17, and Romans 12:1-2 - good stuff!
