Remember.

May we never forget.

Nine years ago on September 11th, I was a senior in high school sitting in Mr. Thedy's first period English class.  A teacher from another room came over to tell Mr. Thedy what was going on and he turned on the news.  For the rest of the school day, I watched heart wrenching news reports from New York City.  I remember very clearly, my math teacher, Mr. Ziccardi, saying that we'd never forget this day and that history was happening right before our eyes.  He was right.  I haven't forgotten.

Marcus and I visited Ground Zero in 2005.  It's hard to describe what it was like looking out over what was left and reading the lists of names posted of those who had lost their lives to the tragedy.  Again, it's something that I'll never forget.

I pray for all of those were affected by September 11, 2001 and for those who continue to be affected by the repercussions of this tragedy.

May God bless all the nations of the world and bring us nearer to Him.
