Will we be parents this weekend? At today's appointment, Marcus and I found out that I am 3 - 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced. I don't know if I'm closer to a 3 or 4, but the doctor said she'd be surprised if I made it to my next appointment. If Bethany doesn't come by September 23rd, then I will have a stress test, ultrasound, and we will schedule an induction . . . but I'm hoping that she decides to come before that happens!
Today I busted my butt cleaning the house. I woke up feeling sort of sluggish, but a few chapters out of the book of Proverbs inspired me to clean, clean, clean. Hopefully, this will be the final deep clean before Bethany comes! (Don't worry, I'll still clean the house after she comes . . . I'm just hoping this is the last big cleaning effort before her arrival!)
Anyway, after my morning cleaning frenzy, I am now very sore. I am kind of hoping I can spend tomorrow hibernating in bed, so that on the weekend, I'll be rested, rejuvenated, and ready to birth a baby!
