The Hamletts’ Blog

We are Bobby and Katie Hamlett, 22 year-old newlyweds and recent graduates from UCF (University of Central Florida). We both love attending our home church, Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, Florida. We enjoy serving in the children’s ministry (3rd grade!), fellowshipping in our small groups, and of course battling the guys in the basketball league! Other than church we are sports fanatics! (…and American Idol fanatics too!) We frequently attend college football games (UCF and Virginia Tech) and also NASCAR (go #88 Dale Jr!).

Over the past year, we have been seeking God’s will for our lives through lots of prayer and Bible study. We believe that God has called us to serve in Thailand for six months. And so we will be leaving on this great adventure God has given us on August 19^th. Upon arrival, we will be serving with a Christian organization called Campus Outreach in Bobby’s mom’s hometown of Khon Kaen, Thailand.

We both love Jesus and are amazed at how he has changed our lives! We want to give back because we have been so blessed by His amazing love!
